Leadership Chatham’s Agriculture Day offers participants an up-close look at the innovation, sustainability, and community impact of local farming. The cohort will visit The Farm at Penny Lane, Lindale Farm, Granite Springs Farm, and Mellow Marsh Farm, learning directly from growers and land stewards who help shape Chatham’s economy, food systems, and rural identity. 

From specialty produce to native plants and livestock, this day is about cultivating connections, appreciating heritage, and gaining a deeper understanding of agriculture’s role in Chatham County’s future.
